This post is very targeted at a few people. But when editing your news clips please use headphones!
For one I am probably already editing a story so I don't want to hear yours. You don't get a good reading on sound quality with the speakers, which means its very hard to know what it really gonna sound like when it goes live.
You cant tell if the sound has be accidentally recorded in mono. Plus it is just fucking annoying! It's bad enough I have to hear the same clip over and over again for a hour or two let alone having to hear yours on full volume!
This is more of a rant than a blog post but I don't care, just spent the last 4 hours having to listen to some one failing at editing!
